Recording, Jamming and Writing
September's been a good month for me with a lot to do. Starting off with a jam session with local Shrewsbury band The Paprika Blues Band. It was a great chance to play with some brilliant musicians and meet some good people. In my last post I mentioned a piece of music that I had been writing, well I'm pleased to say it is currently being mixed by my friend Steven Kershaw and will be uploaded when ready. I've worked hard on it and managed to get Shrewsbury Orchestra's very own David Glossop to record Oboe for me which he did a fantastic job on. The recording took place in All Saints Church which I am very grateful for the people there, especially Mike Youers, for allowing us to do so. Since then I have been working on a new piece of music that is mainly piano centred however I'm experimenting with some new styles with ties to my other work. Thanks for reading and come back soon to see my latest music.
